Henry Owolabi is a core hospitality professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Before joining Royalty Hotels and Recreations Limited in 1998, he cut his teeth with premium hospitality organizations such as Lasal Hotels and Lagos Travel Inn, besides others management exposures with ABB, Abuja. With Bsc in Business Management, University of Uyo, he was engaged as Income Auditor and rose through dint of hard work and commitment to organizational goals to top management level as General Manager in charge of Operations.

This responsibility places on his shoulders that task of ensuring smooth-free administration of the base and offshore operations; coordinating with several other departments such as Logistics, Material Management Division (MMD), hotels and Accounts in the overall goal of delivery goods and services to clients optimum satisfaction.

Aside this, Owolabi oversees other strategic Business Unit (SBUs) of the Group like Royalty Apartments – a highbrow purpose-built apartments for longer stay by discerning executives and Royalty Laundry and Dry Cleaning PRO.

Owolabi has attended many professional courses and training including: Service Management Programme, Lagos Business School, Lagos, 2009; Making Catering Contract Work Course, London, United Kingdom by BIFM Training, July 2009; Foods & Materials Management Techniques, Zubby Consult, Kaduna, March 2006.  He is also a member of Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM); National Institute of Safety Professionals; Hotel and Catering International Management Association and The Institute of Industrial Catering Association of London.
